DTC B14F4-87: Communication Error With Parking Assist Unit (Ultrasonic) Related Module

B14F4-87: (VCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Communication error with parking assist unit (ultrasonic) related module
Detection condition	The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the parking assist unit (ultrasonic) received a communication error with the following modules. Electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM Electrical supply unit (ESU) Vehicle control module (VCM) Body control module (BCM)
Fail-safe	(See DTC TABLE [VCM] .)
Possible cause	Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored in the following modules. Vehicle control module (VCM) (See DTC TABLE [VCM] .) Body control module (BCM) (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .) DTCs are stored in the following modules Parking assist unit (ultrasonic) (See DTC TABLE [PAU] .) Electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM (See DTC TABLE [DSC] .) Electrical supply unit (ESU) related DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .) Configuration related DTCs are stored in the following modules. Vehicle control module (VCM) (See DTC TABLE [VCM] .) Body control module (BCM) (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .) Parking assist unit (ultrasonic) malfunction (Refer to PARKING ASSIST UNIT (ULTRASONIC) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
