DTC C0082-68: Abs Control [DSC HU/Cm]: Notes

DTC C0082:68 (DSC HU/CM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC C0082:68 ABS control
DETECTION CONDITION
  • ABS control continuing for 60 s or more is detected.
    NOTE:
    • The DTC may occur if the vehicle is driven under the following conditions.
      • ABS operates continuously over long distances and long periods when braking on slippery road surfaces
        • Wheel speed differences occur due to differences in tire tread wear or tire diameter
  • Decreased pressure or hold condition continues for 1.28 s on all wheels
    NOTE:
    • The DTC may occur if the vehicle is driven under the following conditions.
      • Decreased pressure/hold condition continues due to vehicle spin
        • Decreased pressure/hold condition continues because friction coefficient between road surface and tires is significantly low and there is no grip force recovery even with ABS control
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
POSSIBLE CAUSE
  • Friction coefficient between road surface and tires is significantly low such as when driving on slippery road surfaces.
  • There is significant wear on individual tires.
  • Tires with differing diameters have been installed.
  • DSC HU/CM internal malfunction
