Rear Console Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
    4. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the caps and the screws.

  4. Remove the wiring harness clips.
  5. Move the rear console in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the clips and guides from the front console.

  6. Remove the wiring harness clips from the rear console.

  7. Remove the rear console in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
