Upper Panel Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5] .)
  2. Open the console lid.
  3. Move the upper panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure, and detach clips A and B, and the hooks.

  4. Disconnect the commander switch connector. (With center display)
  5. Disconnect the electric parking brake (EPB) switch connector.
  6. Remove screws.

  7. Remove hooks from the upper panel.

  8. Remove the panel from the upper panel.
  9. Remove the commander switch when replacing the panel. (With center display) (See COMMANDER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  10. Remove the electric parking brake (EPB) switch when replacing the panel. (With center display) (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
