Driver-Side Lower Panel Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Driver-side front scuff plate (Refer to FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Driver-side front side trim (Refer to FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Hood release lever (Refer to HOOD RELEASE LEVER AND RELEASE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Fuel-filler lid opener lever (Refer to FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Partially peel back the seaming welt.
Remove the bolt.

Move the driver-side lower panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure, and detach clips A and B, and the hooks.

Move the driver-side lower panel in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure, and detach clips A and B, and the guide.

Disconnect the cluster switch connector.

Remove the clip.
Remove the DLC-2 connector.
Remove the screw.
Remove the bracket.

Remove the driver-side lower panel.
Remove the cluster switch when replacing the driver-side lower panel. (Refer to CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
