Driver-Side Lower Panel Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Driver-side front scuff plate (Refer to FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Driver-side front side trim (Refer to FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Hood release lever (Refer to HOOD RELEASE LEVER AND RELEASE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Fuel-filler lid opener lever (Refer to FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER AND LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Partially peel back the seaming welt.
- Remove the bolt.
- Move the driver-side lower panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure, and detach clips A and B, and the hooks.
- Move the driver-side lower panel in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure, and detach clips A and B, and the guide.
- Disconnect the cluster switch connector.
- Remove the clip.
- Remove the DLC-2 connector.
- Remove the screw.
- Remove the bracket.
- Remove the driver-side lower panel.
- Remove the cluster switch when replacing the driver-side lower panel. (Refer to CLUSTER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
