Liftgate Lower Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the following parts:
    1. Liftgate upper trim (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Liftgate side trim (See LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Liftgate recess (See LIFTGATE RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the fasteners.

  3. Take the shaded areas shown in the figure, and pull the liftgate lower trim in the direction of the arrows in the order of (1), (2), (3), (4) and remove it while detaching the pin, clips A and clips B.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
