Front Door Speaker Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Power window main switch (driver's side) (Refer to POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Power window subswitch (passenger's side) (Refer to POWER WINDOW SUBSWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Front door trim (Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the front door speaker connector. (Refer to FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Inspect the resistance between front door speaker terminals B and C.

Front door speaker resistance

Without Bose®: 3.4-4.6 ohms
With Bose®: approx. 2.1 ohms

If not within the specification, replace the front door speaker. (Refer to FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
