Washer Tank Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the set plate. (See SET PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the fresh-air duct installation bolts. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T] .) (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)] .)
- Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the tank bracket in the direction of the arrow (1) while detaching tab.
- Remove the tank cap.
- While lightly pressing the upper part of the washer funnel in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure below, remove it from the tank bracket in the direction of the arrow (2).
- Disconnect the washer motor connector.
- Disconnect the washer fluid-level sensor connector. (With washer fluid-level sensor)
- While pressing the tabs of the clips in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure above, remove them in the direction of the arrow (2).
- Disconnect the windshield washer hose from the washer motor.
- Remove the windshield washer hose from the hook.
- Remove bolts.
- Remove the washer tank positioning hook and notch from the vehicle and remove the washer tank.
- Remove the washer motor. (See WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the washer fluid-level sensor. (With washer fluid-level sensor) (See WASHER FLUID-LEVEL SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
