Rear Console Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
4. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Move the console panel in the order of arrows (1), (2) shown in the figure below, and remove it while detaching the hooks, clips.

Disconnect the connectors.

Remove the wiring harness clip.
Remove the cushion tape.

Remove the sheet cushion.
Remove the screws.

Remove the fasteners.

Move the rear console component in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure below, detach the clips from the center lower panel, and remove the rear console component.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- When replacing the rear console, remove the upper panel component. (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
