Center Panel Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Meter hood cover (See METER HOOD COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Audio panel (See AUDIO PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the screws.
- Move the center panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3), and (4) shown in the figure below, and remove it while detaching the clips A, clips B.
- Disconnect the hazard switch connector.
- Remove the center panel.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.NOTE:
- When replacing the center panel, remove the following parts:
- Center ventilator grille (See VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Side ventilator grille (passenger-side) (See VENTILATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Hazard warning switch (See HAZARD WARNING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- When replacing the center panel, remove the following parts:
