Revolution Sensor Removal/Installation: Notes

Replacement Part

O-ring	Bolt

Location of use: Revolution sensor	Location of use: Revolution sensor

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Drain the manual transaxle oil. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [C66M-R (US)] .)
Remove the revolution sensor using the following procedure.

1. Disconnect the revolution sensor connector.
2. Remove the revolution sensor and O-ring as a single unit.
3. Remove the O-ring from the revolution sensor.
Install in the reverse order of removal. (See REVOLUTION SENSOR INSTALLATION NOTE .)
