Manual Transaxle Oil Replacement

Replacement Part 

Oil and Chemical Type 

1. Park the vehicle on level ground.
2. Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Remove the drain plug and gasket, and drain the manual transaxle oil.

4. Install a new gasket and the drain plug.
5. Remove the bolts and set the wiring harness and wiring harness bracket in a place which does not interfere with servicing.

6. Remove the oil level plug and gasket.

7. Add the specified manual transaxle oil through the oil level plug port.

   Specified manual transaxle oil	Engine type	Manual transaxle oil capacity (approx. quantity)
   MAZDA LONG LIFE GEAR OIL G7	SKYACTIV-G 2.0	1.70 L {1.80 US qt, 1.50 Imp qt}
   	SKYACTIV-G 2.5	1.65 L {1.74 US qt, 1.45 Imp qt}

8. Install a new gasket and the oil level plug.

9. Connect the wiring harness bracket to the manual transaxle.

10. Install the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
