Neutral Sensor Removal/Installation: Notes

Replacement Part

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
Remove the following parts as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (VIN L (US))] .) (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (VIN M (US))] .)
- Air cleaner cover
- Air cleaner element
- Fresh-air duct
- Air cleaner case
- Air hose
- Resonance chamber
Remove the neutral sensor using the following procedure.

1. Disconnect the neutral sensor connector.
2. Remove the neutral sensor and O-ring as a single unit.
3. Remove the O-ring from the neutral sensor.
Install in the reverse order of removal. (See NEUTRAL SENSOR INSTALLATION NOTE .)
