Clearance Inspection
- Remove the front ABS wheel-speed sensor. (See FRONT ABS WHEEL-SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Measure the distance between the front ABS wheel-speed sensor installation surface and the ABS sensor rotor. This is dimension A.
- Calculate the clearance between the front ABS wheel-speed sensor and the ABS sensor rotor using the following formula:
- Clearance (mm) = A-14 {0.55}
- Verify that the clearance between the front ABS wheel-speed sensor and ABS sensor rotor is as indicated below.
- If not within the specification, replace the front ABS wheel-speed sensor. (See FRONT ABS WHEEL-SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
