Windshield Wiper And Washer Switch Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] ).
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Column cover (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
    2. Wiper and washer switch (See WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Use a tester to measure and verify that the continuity between the windshield wiper and washer switch terminals is as indicated in the table.
    • If the continuity is not as indicated in the table, replace the windshield wiper and washer switch. (See WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
