Symptom and Conditions
Some Mazda 6 vehicles equipped with higher trim levels feature a Smart Key system. With this system the vehicle uses a "Push Button" start. Pressing the button will turn on Accessory and Ignition modes, but the driver must depress the brake pedal to start the engine (AUTOMATIC) or clutch for the manual transmission.
