HALFSHAFT Seal RH: Installation

Use the special tools to install the RH halfshaft seal.

Install the dust shield.
NOTE:
- Clean the intermediate shaft before assembly. Use 600 grit sandpaper on seal journals and wipe dry.

Install the front drive axle intermediate shaft. Refer to the following:
- For 2001 models, see INTERMEDIATE SHAFT .
- For 2002 models, see INTERMEDIATE SHAFT .
Install the heat shield.
1. Install the three bolts.
Install the exhaust system crossover pipe. Refer to EXHAUST FLEXIBLE PIPE .
Check the Power Take Off (PTO) unit oil level. Refer toPOWER TAKE OFF UNIT DRAINING AND FILLING .
Check the transaxle fluid level. Refer to DRAINING & REFILLING .
