Line Pressure Test: Preparation

Follow stall speed test preparation. See PREPARATION  under STALL SPEED TEST. Connect line pressure gauge to line pressure test port. See Figure . Place line pressure gauge where it can be read from driver seat. Ensure engine idle speed and ignition timing is correct. See appropriate ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
