Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the center instrument panel upper finish panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
  2. Remove the 4 bolts and remove the Front Display Interface Module (FDIM).
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    • To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

  3. Remove the 4 screws and remove Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) from the back of the FDIM.
    • To install, tighten to 0.6 Nm (5 lb-in).

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  5. Calibrate the FDIM touchscreen. Refer to TOUCHSCREEN CALIBRATION .
