Liftgate Window Glass

1. If installing a new liftgate window glass, remove the rear wiper motor. For additional information, refer to REAR WINDOW WIPER .
2. Remove components in the order indicated in the following illustration.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 3: Liftgate Struts Removal Note 

CAUTION: Open and support the liftgate before removing the liftgate window glass struts.
1. Disconnect the liftgate window glass struts at the liftgate glass.

Item 5: Liftgate Glass Removal Note 

CAUTION: Be sure not to scratch the applique located at the bottom of the glass.
1. With the help of an assistant, remove the liftgate window glass.
