Control Vacuum Rod Position
- Seat CER using stator cap weight and zero dial indicator. Remove stator cap weight. Depress CVR until seated. Dial indicator reading should be .250" (6.35 mm).
- Adjust reading by holding CVR with 3/8" wrench and turning adjustment screw with a 3/32" Allen wrench. Turn screw clockwise to decrease reading or counterclockwise to increase. Install original choke diaphragm cover and spring. See Fig 1 .
