DTC C1A47: Steering Angle Sensor [11/2017 - 03/2019]: Procedure

HINT: 

Lane departure alert system (w/ Steering Control) DTC C1A47 may be stored due to a malfunction in the vehicle stability control system. Therefore it is necessary to check for and troubleshoot vehicle stability control system DTCs first.

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2017 - 03/2019]

   Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Vehicle stability control system DTCs are output	B

GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2017 - 03/2019]

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2017 - 01/2023]

   Chassis > LKA/LDA > Clear DTCs 

2. Perform the following procedure.

   HINT: 

   If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.

   1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 7 seconds or more.
3. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2017 - 01/2023]

   Chassis > LKA/LDA > Trouble Codes

2. Perform forward recognition camera adjustment.
