DTC P1585-49: Acceleration Sensor Circuit Internal Electronic Failure; DTC P158649: Acceleration Sensor Circuit Range / Performance Internal Electronic Failure [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Trouble Codes.

   Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes 

5. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

   HINT: 

   • If any CAN communication system DTCs are output, perform troubleshooting for the CAN communication system first.
   • If any DTCs other than P158549 or P158649 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.

   The airbag ECU assembly is not tilted and its installation bolts are tightened to the specified torque, the airbag ECU assembly bracket is not deformed and there are no foreign objects under the airbag ECU assembly.

1. Disconnect the F57 airbag ECU assembly connector.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

4. Turn the engine switch off.
5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   F57-32 (E2) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

6. Connect the F57 airbag ECU assembly connector.
