Rear Active Stabilizer Control Actuator: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BUSH
1. Install the 2 stabilizer bar bushes outside of the bush stoppers on the rear active stabilizer control actuator as shown in the illustration.
  NOTE: Make sure to face the stabilizer bar bush's seam to the upper rear of the vehicle.

INSTALL REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
1. First, temporarily install bolt 1. Then install bolts 2, 3 and 4. Then tighten bolt 5.
  Torque: 48 N.m (489 kgf.cm, 35 ft. lbf.)

2. Attach the 2 claws, and install the wire harness to the suspension member

INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
1. Install the stabilizer link with the nut and bolt.
  Torque: 26 N.m (265 kgf.cm, 19 ft. lbf.)

2. Install the stabilizer link with the nut.
  Torque: 89 N.m (908 kgf.cm, 66 ft. lbf.)

INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Support the rear suspension member with an engine lift and attachments.
  CAUTION:
  - As the rear suspension member is very heavy, securely support it with an engine lifter with attachments.
  - Perform this procedure with several people supporting the rear suspension member so that it does not tilt or fall.
2. Slowly raise the engine lift so that the rear suspension member is at its installation position.

3. Attach the 3 claws, and install the grommet to the body.

  HINT:
  
  Install the grommet so that the arrow of the grommet is facing the top of the vehicle.
4. Install the 2 rear suspension member stopper lowers, and the 2 differential support member stopper lowers with the 4 bolts

1. Attach the 2 clamps to install the wire harness to the body

2. Using the procedures below, connect the actuator 2 connectors.
  1. Connect the actuator connector. (*1)
  2. Rotate the lever in the direction of the arrow until a "click" sound is heard. (*2)
  3. Lock the lever's lock (*3)

3. Attach the wire harness clamp to the bracket.
