Package Tray Trim: Installation

INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM LINK MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
1. Install the motor with the 2 bolts, then connect the connector.
2. Install the 2 drive cables.
3. Attach the 2 clips of the drive cable.
INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM BRACKET
1. Install the bracket with the 2 bolts.

INSTALL SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH
1. Install the limit switch with the 2 screws.
2. Install the protector with the bolt.

1. Install the panel so that the 4 nuts are in the marked positions.
  HINT:
  
  When replacing the bracket, install it by correctly aligning it with the marks on the panel.

1. Install the cover with the 9 screws.

INSTALL NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY
1. Install the panel No. 2 so that the 2 nuts are in the marked positions.
  HINT:
  
  When replacing the bracket, install it by correctly positioning to the marks on the side board.

1. Install the panel so that the 2 nuts are in the marked positions.

  When replacing the bracket, install it by correctly positioning to the marks on the side board.
INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM ASSEMBLY
1. Temporarily install the tray trim with the 6 bolts.
  HINT:
  
  Use the shims stored during removal.
2. Fully open the roof panel.
3. Close the luggage door.
4. Move the package tray trim back and forth to adjust its position.
  Standard:
  
  10.8 mm (0.45 in.)
  
  If the standard value is not satisfied, adjust the installation position of the side panel.
  
  HINT:
  
  For vertical adjustment, change the number of the shims to be inserted.
5. Open the luggage door from the front and set the package tray trim to an upright position.
6. Tighten the 6 bolts.

1. Attach the 4 clips labeled B to install the trim panel.
2. Install the 6 screws and clip labeled A.

3. Attach the 4 claws to install the belt garnish.

PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
