Certification Ecu: Installation

INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (w/ Pre-collision System)
1. Install the ECU with the bolt.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

2. Install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) with seat belt control ECU with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

3. Connect the connectors.

1. Install the ECU with the bolt.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

2. Install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) with bracket with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
3. Connect the connectors.

INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER LH (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See INSTALLATION )
REGISTER ECU CODE
1. Register the ECU code (See REGISTRATION ).
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Check the SRS warning light (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
