Shift Lever Position Sensor: Adjustment

ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR
1. Set the shift lever to the N position.
2. Remove the nut and transmission control shaft lever.
3. Loosen the 2 bolts of the shift lever position sensor.
4. Align the groove and the neutral alignment mark line.
5. Hold the switch in position and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)

6. After adjustment, perform the inspection (see INSPECTION ).
7. Install the transmission control shaft lever with the nut.
  Torque: 16 N*m (163 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf)
