Ultrasonic Sensor: Removal

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for Front Side)  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Front Side) 
    1. Disconnect the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor connector.
    2. Remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (for Front Side) 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the front bumper assembly.

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (for Rear Side) 
  6. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY (for Rear Side) 
  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  8. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for Rear Side)  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  9. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (for Rear Side)  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT INNER TRIM COVER RH (for Rear Side)  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)  (See REMOVAL )
  12. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Rear Side) 
    1. Disconnect the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor connector.
    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

    4. Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor from the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (for Rear Side) 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper assembly.
