Fog Lamp Unit: Overhaul

HINT:

• See ADJUSTMENT  .
• The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order.
• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
• A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt table (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
   CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
5. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
6. REMOVE FOG LAMP UNIT LH 
   1. Remove the 3 bolts and fog lamp.
   2. Remove the screw and fog lamp bracket LH.
   3. Remove the bulb from the lamp unit.

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (See  INITIALIZATION  ) 
   NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
9. ADJUST FOG LAMP AIMING (See  ADJUSTMENT   )
