Back Door: Adjustment

  1. ADJUST DOOR IN LEFT/RIGHT AND VERTICAL DIRECTIONS 

    Adjust the door by loosening the door side hinge bolts.

    Torque: 15 N.m (153 kgf.cm, 11 ft.lbf)

  2. ADJUST DOOR IN FORWARD/REARWARD AND VERTICAL DIRECTIONS 
    1. Pull down rear part of roof headlining (See REMOVAL (Sedan) or REMOVAL (Wagon) .
    2. Adjust the door by loosening the body side hinge nuts.

      Torque: 11.5 N.m (117 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)

  3. ADJUST BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Check that the door fit and door linkage are adjusted correctly.
    2. Adjust the back door lock assembly by loosening the back door lock bolts.

      Torque: 12.5 N.m (128 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

    3. Using a plastic hammer, tap the back door lock assembly to adjust.

    NOTE: Tap the base for adjustment. 
  4. ADJUST SIDE MALE STOPPER 

    Adjust the side male stopper by loosening the stopper mounting bolt.
