STOP Position Operation

  1. Leave both connectors (6-pin connector and 1-pin adjustment connector) attached to wiper angle motor. Turn ignition on. Operate motor once, and turn wiper switch to OFF position. Turn ignition off. Disconnect 6-pin connector.
  2. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 1, 3 and 4. See Figure. If there is continuity, check motor operation (next procedure). If there is no continuity, check wiper control relay circuits. See WIPER CONTROL RELAY CIRCUIT TEST  under CIRCUIT TESTING. If circuits are okay, replace motor. If problem still exists, replace wiper control relay.
