Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Check the lower active grille air shutter for obstructions and damage. Rectify as necessary
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the lower active grille air shutter circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the lower active grille air shutter motor power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new lower active grille air shutter motor
