DTC P008B-85 Low Pressure Fuel System Pressure - Too High - Signal above allowable range: Action

Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the low pressure fuel system fuel pressure sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Check the fuel system for leaks both internal and external of the fuel tank. Rectify as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
- Install a new low pressure fuel pump
