Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check fuel low pressure sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Check the fuel system for leaks both internal and external of the fuel tank
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
- Install a new low pressure fuel pump
