DTC P0087-84 Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low Bank 1 - Signal below allowable range: Action

NOTE:
Do NOT replace the powertrain control module for this DTC, unless the powertrain control module connector pins are damaged or corroded.
- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Engine running for greater than 1 minute
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new fuel rail pressure sensor
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
