- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Drive vehicle in boosted regions and perform numerous negative transients (acceleration followed by abrupt back outs (throttle closure))
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the compressor bypass control actuator circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new compressor bypass control actuator
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
