DTC B10A2-32 Crash Input - Signal low time < minimum: Action

- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Setting Strategy
- Ignition on for 30 seconds
- Before a collision, the crash signal has a frequency of 10 Hz ± 10% and a duty cycle of 50% ± 10%
- After a collision, the crash signal alternates between 5 cycles at 500 Hz ± 10% and 5 cycles at 250 Hz ± 10% and has a duty cycle of 50% ± 10%
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the restraints control module power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the crash signal circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the restraints control module for related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to the relevant DTC index
