Check the vacuum system, secondary turbocharger charge air shut-off valve and turbine intake shut-off valve operation. Refer to FUEL CHARGING AND CONTROLS - TDV6 3.0L DIESEL (G1551116) and perform pinpoint test A Vacuum Control System Tests For additional information, Refer to: TURBOCHARGER .
Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the secondary turbocharger charge air shut-off valve circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress and pins for damage and/or corrosion
Check and install a new secondary turbocharger charge air shut-off valve as required
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
