Repair Procedures: Inspection
- The engine control system can be more quickly diagnosed for problems by using the KDS (Refer to "2.5T (VIN F)
").
- Self diagnosis: Checking failure and Diagnosis Trouble Code (DTC)
- Data analysis: Checking the system input/output data state
- Actuation test: Checking the system operation condition.
- Software Management: Controlling other features including system option setting and Zero-Adjustment
Inspection component
- Remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS). (Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - "REMOVAL ")
- After immersing the thermistor of the sensor into engine coolant, measure resistance between ECTS signal terminal and ground terminal.
- Compare the measured resistance with the specification to below.
