Control Circuit Inspection

- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect battery (-) cable.
- Refer to " ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) " and disconnect ECM and Metal Core Block (PCB #1) connectors.
- Measure the resistance between control terminal of main relay harness connector (Metal Core Block (PCB #1) connector) and main relay control terminal of ECM harness connector.
Specification: Approx. below 1 Ω
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "CONTROL RELAY POWER CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in control circuit between ECM and Metal Core Block (PCB #!1) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
