Control Relay Power Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
  3. Refer to " ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) " and disconnect ECM and Metal Core Block (PCB #1) connectors.
  4. Measure the resistance between control relay power terminal of main relay harness connector (Metal Core Block (PCB #1) connector and main relay control relay power terminal of ECM harness connector.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1Ω

  5. Is measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Repair open or short in control power circuit between ECM and Metal core Block (PCB #/1) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
