Possible Causes

(T801) SHIFT SOLENOID E (5) CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
SHIFT SOLENOID E (5)
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to  6F24 TCM PRE-DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE   .
