Front Wiper Module: Assembly

The front wiper motor and its rubber boot are available for service replacement. Following are the procedures for reassembling these components onto the front wiper module unit.
- Position the wiper motor onto the front wiper module bracket.
- Install and tighten the three screws that secure the wiper motor to the front wiper module bracket. Tighten the screws to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).
- Position the wiper motor crank arm onto the front wiper motor output shaft.
- Install and tighten the nut that secures the wiper motor crank arm to the front wiper motor output shaft. Tighten the nut to 12 N.m (101 in. lbs.).
- Engage the wiper motor pigtail wire connector retainer in the locating hole on the front wiper module bracket.
- Reinstall the front wiper module into the cowl plenum. See INSTALLATION .
