Front Wiper Module: Installation

  1. Position the front wiper module into the cowl plenum as a unit. See Figure .
  2. Install and tighten the three screws that secure the front wiper module mounting bracket to the cowl plenum panel. Tighten the screws to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
  3. Reconnect the body wire harness connector for the front wiper motor to the motor pigtail wire connector.
  4. Reinstall the cowl plenum cover/grille panel over the cowl plenum. See COWL GRILLE & SCREEN  .
  5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
  6. Close and latch the hood.
  7. Reinstall the front wiper arms onto the wiper pivots. See FRONT WIPER ARM  .
