Test TC-15C - Speed Control Solenoid Circuits Or Speed Control Power Relay Circuits

NOTE: Perform TEST TC-15A  before proceeding. For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  article.
  1. Disconnect brake switch connector. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on brake switch connector, speed control (ON/OFF switch sense) power supply circuit (Yellow/Red wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If voltage is 10 volts or less, perform TEST TC-15D  . If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
  2. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance of switched speed control power supply circuit (Dark Blue/Red wire) between speed control servo 4-pin connector terminal No. 3 and brake switch connector terminal No. 4. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace brake switch and perform TEST SC-VER  . If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open switched speed control power supply circuit and perform TEST SC-VER  .
