DTC Detection Logic

NOTE:
  • If DTC B261B is displayed with DTC U1000, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000. Refer to DTC LOGIC .
  • If DTC B261B is displayed with DTC U1010, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1010. Refer to DTC LOGIC .
  • If DTC B261B is displayed with DTC B26F1, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC B26F1. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
DTC No. Trouble diagnosis name DTC detecting condition Possible cause
B261B RES ENG RUN STUCK MALFNC Engine status signal, which is received from ECM via CAN communication 10 seconds after BCM stops engine while remote engine start function is in operation, indicates that engine is in operation status.
  • Harness or connectors

    [Ignition relay (IPDM E/R) control circuit is open or shorted.]

  • Harness or connectors

    (CAN communication line is open or shorted.)

  • ECM
