LP-EGR (Low Pressure Exhaust gas recirculation) is a low pressure system to intake exhaust gas which is the previous part of compressor in a turbocharger.

It is composed of exhaust gas temperature sensor to detect exhaust gas temperature, differential pressure sensor to sense exhaust-gas pressure and EGR valve.

LP-EGR improves fuel efficiency and secures combustibility by controlling precisely the volume of recirculated exhaust gas from exhaust manifold. Especially, it maximizes the efficiency of high load.
