Side Engine Mount Replacement

  1. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the engine/IMA/transmission.
  2. Remove the ground cable (A), then remove the side engine mount bracket (B).

  3. Remove the side engine mount bracket (A) and the side engine mount (B).

  4. Tighten the side engine mount mounting bolts and the side engine mount bracket mounting bolts.
  5. Install the side engine mount bracket (A), then loosely install the new side engine mount bracket mounting bolts and nut (B).

  6. Install the ground cable (C).
  7. Remove the air cleaner AIR CLEANER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
  8. Loosen the transmission mount bracket support bolt and nuts (A).

  9. Remove the jack and the wood block.
  10. Raise the vehicle on the lift.
  11. Remove the five clips and the two bolts securing the front undercover, then open the front undercover ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK .
  12. Loosen the lower torque rod mounting bolts (A).

  13. Lower the vehicle on the lift.
  14. Tighten the side engine mount bracket mounting bolts and nut in the numbered sequence shown.

  15. Tighten the transmission mount bracket support bolt and nuts.

  16. Raise the vehicle on the lift.
  17. Tighten the lower torque rod mounting bolts in the numbered sequence shown.

  18. Install the front undercover, the five clips and the two bolts securing the front undercover, then close the front undercover ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK .
