Preliminary Procedure Power Transfer Unit Heat Shield Replacement (M3D transmission with LSY engine)
1	Power Transfer Unit Shift Actuator Bolt [ 4x ] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb/in)
2	Power Transfer Unit Shift Actuator Procedure Disconnect the electrical connectors. NOTE: The shift fork must be lined up with the shift collar when it is installed.
3	Power Transfer Unit Shift Actuator Seal Procedure Inspect and replace as necessary. Fill the transmission to the correct level using the proper fluid. Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill Verify power transfer unit fluid level is at the correct level and adjust as necessary. Approximate Fluid Capacities Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
