Removal & Installation (2.2L)

NOTE: It may not be necessary to raise and support vehicle when replacing knock sensor on some 2.2L models.

Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect knock sensor harness connector. See Figure. Remove knock sensor from engine. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten knock sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
